Description:
What is a sustainable city? How can our communities, our neighbourhoods, and our cities adopt this new approach? Are we ready to change the way we think about our cities? This colloquium, organized by the Quebec chapter of the Canada Green Building Council, is a unique opportunity for people working in many different disciplines – those aiming to make our cities more sustainable – to learn and to exchange ideas.
Presentations by the Montréal Urban Ecology Centre
During the colloquium, "Make sustainable cities, now!" Owen Rose, president of the Board, and Marie-Hélène Armand, urban planning advisor, will both give presentations:
From 8:30 to 10:15am, Owen Rose will talk about how some international cities have made themselves more sustainable.
