Annie Rochette

Board member

Annie Rochette has worked in the field of sustainable urban development since 2001. She was a research officer at the Chaire d’études sur les écosystèmes urbains de l’UQÀM from 2001 to 2007 where she participated in studies on sustainable mobility and public participatory processes. She also worked as a research officer on public health projects at the Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire sur la biologie, la santé et l'environnement de l’UQÀM and as a research analyst for the Association pour la santé publique du Québec. She holds an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Laval University, a master's degree in civil engineering from  École Polytechnique de Montréal, and a master's in environmental sciences from UQAM. Since October 2007, she has been the sustainable development project manager at the Montréal Urban Ecology Centre where she coordinates the actions the Centre takes on sustainable transportation issues. She also sits on the MUEC's Board of Directors where she represents the employees of the MUEC.
