Luc Rabouin has been developing sustainable neighbourhoods in Montreal (Canada) for the last twenty years. He worked ten years as a community organizer in the public community health sector, and he acted as consultant to many local community as well as regional and national level organizations. Luc Rabouin is specialized in the fields of social development, community economic development, urban ecology and participatory democracy. Executive Director of the Montreal Urban Ecology Centre since 2006, Luc Rabouin is the author of “Democratizing the City” published by Lux Editor in 2009 and holds a Graduate Diploma in Community Economic Development and a Masters in Political Science.
