Owen Rose

Certified LEED Architect.
One of the head architects at Atelier TAUTEM and a Vancouver native, Owen Rose has lived in Montréal since 1996. He completed his Professional Masters of Architecture at McGill University in 2001 and has since continued to develop his knowledge of sustainable design along "ecosensual lines." He is president of the Board of Directors for the Montréal Urban Ecology Centre, a committee member of the Mont-Royal Avenue verte, and a board member of the Conseil régional de l'environnement de Montréal. He participated in creating three research reports on the implementation of green roofs in Montréal. He is a certified LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) professional and was recently nominated for the Comité consultatif d'urbanisme de l'Arrondissement du Plateau Mont-Royal.
