The Montréal Urban Ecology Centre established a consulting service in hopes that we would be able to go further with our clients than more traditional consulting companies do. We see this as another way of achieving our mission to create a greener and more democratic city.

We aim to put our fundamental principles and our expertise at the cutting edge of the best practices in the world to better serve those who want to take on the challenges of sustainable urban development.

• Action Solidarité Grand Plateau
Research and a series of workshops during the Participatory Budget for the Plateau-Mont-Royal.

• Council on Environmental Cooperation (CEC)
Research on best practices concerning energy consumption in 12 North American cities (Canada, USA, and Mexico).

• CSSS Jeanne-Mance
Support for citizen participation in the Jeanne-Mance "Rendez-vous de développement durable."

• Direction de santé publique de Montréal
A field survey on the safety of 500 intersections in Montréal.

• Société de verdissement du Montréal métropolitain
Implementation of three Cool Island projects (greening projects). This project was a nominee for the environment award at the Gala de Reconnaissance 2007.

• Arrondissement Le Plateau-Mont-Royal
Research and a public presentation on best practises in Europe's green neighbourhoods during the public participation process of the Plateau-Mont-Royal Urban Transportation Plan.
