Last February, everyone was talking about Copenhagenizing Montréal. After so much interest in the first Designing Streets as Public Spaces professional workshop, the Montréal Urban Ecology Centre and the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec are offering a second chance to participate in the workshop given by Gehl Architects - Urban Quality Consultants.
The workshop will have three parts:
- Introduction to Jan Gehl's methodology through different case studies
- Description of urban planning tools
- Practical workshop that will apply these tools to a neighbourhood in Montréal.
The workshop is accredited by the Ordre des Urbanistes du Québec and will be of interest to urban planners, architects and engineers.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORKSHOP WILL BE IN ENGLISH ONLY.
