The project Green, Active, Healthy Neighbourhood in Parc-Extension, or Green Neighbourhood in Parc-Extension, is aims at rethinking urban design in order to prioritize active transport modes, such as walking, cycling, and other active transportation modes.
Green Neighborhood in Parc-Extension is one of the first two pilot projects, part of a larger initiative: the d'une initiative plus large, the Green, Active, Healthy Neighbourhoods.
Green, Active, Healthy Neighbourhoods is a Montreal Urban Ecology Center initiative with the collaboration of the Coalition québécoise sur la problématique du poids.
Green Neighbourhood in Parc-Extension is a project carried by Vrac Environnement, with the support of Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension Borough and the assistance of the Montreal Urban Ecology Center.
